Roll Your Own Tobacco Storage
Because of its fine cut, it’s best to purchase RYO tobaccos in smaller quantities. The finer cut of RYO allows it to dry faster than other tobaccos, such as pipe tobacco or cigars.

Dry tobacco smokes harsh and the intended flavor is lost, so even when you buy in small quantities, you will want to store your tobacco in sealed pouches or cans.

If your tobacco becomes too dry, you can moisten it by placing a small wet napkin with the tobacco. Make sure all the excess moisture is gone from the napkin; otherwise your tobacco will become too damp to smoke. Check out tobacco pouches for storing your cigarette tobacco.
